Default Parts needed for gears??

Hey guys since i bought these stage 2 cams im gonna be needin gears. So what should i buy when buying gears. I see AM offers a bearing kit, and a traction LOK rebuild kit w/ carbon disks. Are those recomended for a car with high miles. What all goes into buying gears?

My car as about 88k miles on it...what would u recommend?

Bearing kit is a must with your miles and the LSD rebuild isn't a bad idea. If your in there you might as well do the LSD rebuild IMO

lock tite, rebuild kit(s), axle seals (might as well do those too), fluid and gasket. If you want to do more you can just do a 31 spline while your at it.

Just put in the gears with a new 31 spline T-lok and 31 spline axles. A master bearing kit for a rear end is like $110 or so...it's worth it. Call up Tousley Ford for an FRPP 31 spline T-Lok with Carbon clutches (OEM termi)....I picked mine up for like $172 shipped.

Lol yeah it's always like that. Just get the differential from Toursley Ford instead of AM...AM usually has great prices but their 31 spline T-Lok costs is much more expensive than from Tousley. Installing a 31 spline rear end typically isn't too much more than just doing gears so now is a good time to do it.

Also while you have the axles out, you might want to get extended studs uncase you want to run drag racing rims like prostars with thicker hubs. Many tracks require extended studs as a safety measure when you run slicks. It's a lot safer and easier and they don't cost too much.

yea, everything that was posted before. But be sure to do the 31 spline upgrade. That way you can take full advantage of the new power by being able to launch harder

No, save until you have the money to do it all at once. Cus when you do change the diff and the axles it will be the same labor charge as to do the gears. So why pay for the same installation twice? Especially at the high labor rate that most charge for a gear install.
