Post Very First Mod

Hi guyz I have $200 saved up and was thinking about buy a very first mod for my GT. What you all think about Steeda 4.6L Underdrive Pulleys for $199 from http://www.americanmuscle.com/st4unpu9gt.html

Or

I can spend my money on Throttle Body and BBK Cold Air Intake http://www.americanmuscle.com/bbk-co...e-96-04gt.html

Or

Should I spend my money on regular maintenance like Spark Plugs, Wires, New radiator Hoses and thermostat? Not sure when these things were changed last time by previous owner.

Personally I would skip the U/D pulleys, skip the cold air intake, and get yourself a TB/plenum combo. If you can only afford one, I think I'd go with the plenum. You don't gain much with either the pulleyss or the cold air setup, and if you want to do a blower down the road you'll be taking those pulleys back off anyway. I wish I had done that, between the pulleys and the CAI I would've had $300-400 to spend on something more worthwhile.

If the car needs maintainence then i'd spend it on that. Otherwise exhaust ( mufflers, used cat back and/or mid pipe) or cai, tb/plenum, etc. Whatever floats your boat.

Smile Exhaust

I'd definately fix any maintenance issues and then do your exhaust. Your ears will thank you!

Default bbk intake

I just also installed the bbk cold air intake found it for $80 brand new on ebay.

Sound nice with that air intake sound when you step on it. but for the money exhaust is a good investment. Sweet sound and some power gain.

Nah skip all that ^^^^. Do yourself a favor get a short throw shifter first, unless your cars needs maintenance.
