I want to put a Terminator front end on my GT, but certain places (Cali Mustang) say it wont fit without a cobra hood. Is this BS? I see a lot of pics with Terminator front end on GT's and it looks awesome. Was there anything special done to make it fit?

 

I think it needs to be trimmed at the grille opening mounting points in order for the hood to close properly. There's people here with the Termi bumper/GT hood combo, maybe someone can post a pic of what they had to do (I'm interested to see how it looks, too).

 

I thought it was a direct swap... but im probably wrong.

03/04 Cobra bumpers are def sick and it is goin to be my next front bumper. They are great to show off an intercooler, but if you don't have one it's a pretty big opening in the middle and you can see a lot of frame. Plus it seems like a lot of SVT guys look down on GT's with that bumper unless they have some power to back it up. Either way I am pretty sure you need a grille delete to run that bumper with the GT hood.

 

i could give a **** about what a guy with an "svt" thinks of my bumper... you're a grown *** man that paid for your own car do what you want to it. my **** is boosted anyway

 

yeah i completely forgot that putting a cobra bumper on your car is the same thing as re-badging it.

and i also forgot that you can tell how fast a car is by what front bumper cover it has on it.
