See if the guy with the 04 cobra still has the shortblock and get that too, it's forged so you can just rering and bearing it and rollon with the kb. I'd also get the lower intake and intercooler setup off the cobra aswell. The mach could run low boost on stock shortblock non intercooled, but I wouldn't run more than like 6, maybe 8.

Yea, you made a mistake by buying non-I/C'd kits for both cars, seeing that both are going to be 4v's. The headflow will allow a lot more power to be made but you will have much more heat with the twin screw and will rob power. So i'd be looking for cobra intercoolers for both. Also, i'd be looking to build the shortblock. You can buy an assembled shortblock from MMR for like $3000 and you'll get a new 03 cobra block, forged pistons, rods, and crank and you'll be able to pick your compression ratio and you'll be able to run a lot more boost than with your current bottom end. But if you want to do it yourself, then buy forged pistons, some forged or billet rods, and a forged cobra crank and have your block and rotating assembly blueprinted and balanced.

I'll call the guy tonight and see if he still has the shortblock and intercooler. I've already got the lower intake coming with the heads, I'm waiting to see if they come today.
As for the Mach, the setup we purchased will only push 6-9lbs, so I think I'll be fine with the install?

Well with 6-9lbs boost, you'll be in the lower 400's and i wouldnt really push past 430rwhp with the mach being that it is spinning much higher than your car will be. Now if you bought the shortblock off that cobra, you'd be fine to run like 20+lbs of boost. Most with cobras will only push like 19lbs of boost and that nets them about 600+rwhp. But definitly build both motors as soon as you can. The mach will be the one i worry about the most just seeing that its gonna be running over 10:1 compression with a blower.

What kind of things should I look into on the Mach?
