The LEDs should be as wide as possible for the cluster. With a 90 degree bulb you will have severe hotspots. So a 120 would be better.

http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...ini-wedge.html

First on that page
WLED-x5 1 High Flux LED & 4 x 3mm Radially Mounted LEDs, 220 degree beam
Those would actually be MUCH better. With a 220 degree beam, the LEDs should be brighter than stock bulbs, and cover a very good portion of the overlay.

OK, I really want to do this, and as soon as possible. Sounds pretty easy. Could someone spell out for stupid people like myself, EXACTLY what bulbs to order for the gauges, HVAC controls, dome light, and tail light dome? I want the bright white LED's in everything. Sexy as hell!

I am confused because of this:

That's ok. I completely forgot to mention it in the OP. Also, it'll show you the colors of the LEDs on that site.

5 for cluster
2 for hvac
2 for license
1 for dome light (3 including the maplights)

MAKE SURE you get these. You will see the best results with these LEDs.

WLED-x5
1 High Flux LED & 4 x 3mm Radially Mounted LEDs, 220 degree beam

From:
Super Bright LEDs - Miniature Wedge Base Bulbs

Those 194's work very well.

And these are the cluster LEDs I used.
74-xHP3
3 Radially Mounted High Power SMD LEDs, 360 degree beam

Same web page, a little down.

Mr.Sinister posted that on his writeup.

So do I need SEVEN (7) wled x5 bulbs for BOTH the cluster and the AC controls?

Aside from being Dog tired and a little typsy, I am a little lost here. Help me out guys. Sorry for being an idiot.
