Default New plan?

I haven't posted In a really long time on my stang, Since I last posted I bought a 12v cummins and I've been having alot of fun with that but since I got that my mustang has just sat and I've been bored and I've been wanting to make it into a full drag car and run it at my local 1/4 mile and I want to get it to a 10 with slicks and full weight reduction lol interior good bye think it could be done with good suspension and slicks and weight reduction and of course some preformance? need some input cause I want to start gutting it soon

You are going to need alot more than "some performance" to see 10s in that car. Along with the weight reduction and suspension/ tire combo.

If youre going for 10's, youre gonna need a whole new drivetrain my friend. Stock tranny will crap out on you. I'd say yea, keep it in there until it go BOOM but have a spare one, preferably a built one, sitting there waiting for you to blow the stocker up that way its minimal down time. new tranny, new rear end, full suspension, tubular k up front, and probably a lot of performance. New rotating assembly kinda power. Then you might be able to see 10's with your car.

Built and forged motor, built drivtrain and rear end, full drag suspension, slicks and skinnies, weight reduction, and finally a 150+ shot of nitrous or a good amount of boost.

what is your budget? It is going to take some serious money to reach the 10s but never the less you will have fun getting there.
