Do you have to lower to use the HP's? They aren't out of my range . It's just I travel alot with my car and I'm more interseted in a softer ride than racing around curbs. I jus want the most bang for my buck.

You could use the HP's without lowering, not sure what the ride will be like though. Only reason i replaced my shocks/struts is cause of my lowering springs. The springs i'm running and stock shocks they'll blow pretty fast which is why i decided to just get new everything. I'm sure someone else here can tell you what the ride would be like with stock springs and the hp's.

Well HP's will probably be the best bet for you. The only Bilsteins that are for our cars are the Bilstein HD's and they are $600 as a package on AM. HP's are gonna be your best bet. And no, you dont have to be lowered to use them. I prefer a stiffer, more connected ride for my car. Not so stiff that you can tell a penny from a dime at 65, but stiffer that i dont feel as much body roll in turns and can just feel the road better. Im going with bilsteins or MM revalved bilsteins for my car when i do the suspension over again.

Bilstein--but you're comparing apples and oranges You can nearly buy all four struts/shocks from Gabriel for what one Bilstein strut will cost.

If I were to buy performance struts and shocks for the Mustang I'd look into Strange Engineering's offerings...

^^^I wouldnt...Have them. They are noisy and ride rough because they are a racing oriented damper. THEY SUCK! I want to sell mine. For performance driving, I would suggest Bilsteins. If you want something that is adjustable, then you should go for tokico d-specs...not strange or qa-1. or if you wanna spend the coin, go for koni adjustables. but they are like $1200 a set. lol

I have tokico HP's and they are AWESOME. Car handles great and its a smoother ride than you would think... I also have tokico lowering springs so idk what to tell ya as far as stock springs and tokico HP's go...

But i really do enjoy my suspension set up. Stiff, but very comfortable... I also have other suspension mods though, but the ride quality is awesome no doubt
