Default Good Deal or not?

Was on the local Criagslist and saw a ad for a new Fiberglass Saleen kit.
Guy told me the kit was brand new and its primed already.
He wanted 350, so i offered him 150 and he took it.
I previously had a real 2004 Saleen Mustang and i sold it, but the thing that pisses me off about fake saleen kits is that SALEEN is not engraved in the rear bumper. Do you think if I bought the Stanless Steel SALEEN inserts they would look weried on a Saleen bumper that doens't have SALEEN engraved in the bumper?
Also Fiberglass I was afriad it would break, 150 Seems cheap won't do you think?
Real Saleen kit coast about 1200 and thats with the SALEEN Side Scoops.

Fiberglass is a bad idea. But its not FAKE if you use real OEM parts, just an FYI

+1 on both parts of that post, so +2 I suppose. I bought some real saleen scoops and there is a big difference between them and the cheapo glass ones. Also, just because he says it is primed, doesn't mean it is anywhere close to being ready for paint. A lot of times that stuff will be filled with imperfections that can take hours to make ready for paint. Just some food for thought.

I say good deal if your willing to do a little work. They may need some more sanding, priming and test fitting, but take your time and they'll look good. Plus keep your old parts around and if the fiberglass ever cracks just put the oem one back on. Or refiberglass the saleen ones.

Inserts would probably look gay.

Fiberglass will crack... not if, just when.
