Nitrous oxide is not a flammable substance. The gas itself wouldn't burn but it would cause an existing fire to quickly get out of control. BTW, you do realize you are driving around with a tank of explosive fluid called gasoline. Sometimes I think we human beings are quite crazy. LOL

I used nitrous for a while. Good fun - sucked paying to fill the bottle now. It was like 2.30/lb when I got the kit and sold the kit just as it was getting up over 5.75/lb around here. Just costs too much to keep it!

Nitrous oxide is NOT flammable (in fact, the bottles are labeled with a green diamond, says NON-FLAMMABLE GAS). You can hold an open flame to the nozzle and open it up, it'll just blow the flame out. The magic happens in the combustion chamber when the nitrogen and oxygen break apart in the high temperature and pressure. The oxygen burns, the nitrogen expands. What follows is POWER! haha

Anyway, the best thing to say is "hit that ****." You'll love it, good cheap power, till you're ready to step up to something bigger. Just don't get greedy with the shots, it's so easy to keep adding more power till you pop the motor. I ran a 100 shot on the stock tune (wet kit!) no problems - but I didn't ever use much of it.
