Default Cat back hp/torq gains?

I've got a Magnaflow True X-Pipe w/ high flow cats and Flowmaster 3 chamber mufflers welded on the stock pipes. I'm wondering if there will be any diference in power if I get the larger cat back pipes (I believe 2.5'') to replace the stock ones. Intake mods in sig.

Nothing you're gonna notice, but theoretically you should gain a couple of hp.

all aftermarket ones are going to be the same....all mostly 2.5" mandrel bent

only diff comes from mufflers and the sound they put out. the hp difference b/w a slp straight through and say your flows (chambered) will be minimal

so on a pretty much stock car like yours just go with a catback that you like the sound of.

you wont see hp gains or loss unless you are pushing good amount of hp out of the engine.

Well a 3 chamber flowmaster vs. an SLP muffler will result in a more than typical gain because 3 chambers...thats pretty restrictive. But nothing is really gonna be noticeable. The 2.5" piping will make the sound hollower. And stainless steel and aluminized steel both sound different. Just throwing that out there. But do catback based off of sound...not power.

Get rid of those wimpy 3 chambers, and get something with some NOISE behind it.

I had some 3 chamber flows welded on and just recently switched them out for the SSS adrenaline cat-back... it was worth every penny!
