the stock cans I've heard are pretty restrictive, but a full flowmaster CB is worth about 5-6hp, so I'd say maybe half that... The tips are more show then anything else, I personally like the SLP tips.

^^^Good man. SLP tips are the best. But as for the steeda exhaust, if i remember correctly the steeda catback is actually the borla catback(not stingers). dont hold me to that but i think thats what it is. I like the sound though. Has a nice mellow growl to it, even with an o/r x pipe.

i have a magnaflow (oval body) catback and like it. along with a UPR catless X pipe.

can drone right at 2K rpm going 75mph highway, but i cruise at 70 all the time so it does not bother me. i really like the magnaflow setup, can be loud when you want it otherwise quite tame normal driving. it is a TAD "farty" due to not having cats, but i had stock h-pipe with only front 2 cats (rears deleted) with the same catback and it was great as well. i just wanted it louder

when i had my SLP's i switched to a flowmaster catback, and i didnt expect anything, but it gave me alot more low end torque, but it didint pull as hard up higher.lol but maybe 3-4 hp at most

^You probably didnt gain anything by switching to flowmaster except more low end torque and might have lost a hp or 2 at peak. But nothing noticeable.

BTW, not a fan at all of magnaflow catbacks. sound way to farty with whatever exhaust you run IMHO. but its just my opinion. Only ever heard 1 car(01GT4.6's car) that i liked with magnaflows.

mine didn't get farty until i put the x pipe on. the things with flowmasters is the metallic tinny sound they give out...i actually looked into flowmasters but i couldnt live with that hollow metallic sound all the time so i just stuck with magnaflows.

I love the metallic hollow sound with an o/r h pipe. o/r x pipe was a little much for me. But im switching to LM1's with the catted x pipe soon anyways so no more worries about the metallic sound. Might buy an o/r h pipe sometime and throw different exhaust setups on and off depending on what i feel like. lol
