Had to swap out my O/R X in favor of the stock H due to a ticket...

Nope, back pressure is not a myth. the actually terminology might be something else but the principle that you need a small amount of restriction in the exhaust to perform properly is true IMHO.

I can definitely feel the difference in top end. With the O/R X, it would pull nice and strong to 6k. Now, it dies off after about 5500. I will be going back to my O/R X eventually. I just love the raw sound of it. People who say the setup sounds terrible need to hear it in person. Cheesy YouTube videos don't do it justice. It doesn't sound as raspy and dump truck-like as some videos make it out to, and it sounds amazing at WOT. However, it's definitely not as clean and smooth as a catted setup.

^^^Oh yes it does sound as raspy and backyard glasspack as it does in those videos. lol at least with the BBK o/r x pipe it does. Add longtubes and its a different story but with just the o/r x and SLP LM1's...total clapping raspiness. lol

LM1's with an o/r x on my car sounded just like having the catback disconnected from the midpipe, horrible. It sounded like 10,000 fully auto assault rifles going off at the same time, both on accel and decel. The fuzz here hasn't hassled me about my current combo, just gotta shut it off when you're pulled over (something that's a good idea anyway) so a curious officer doesn't catch a whiff of the fumes. Other than that, I've had various divisions of law enforcement either follow or pass me and apparently not have an issue about my exhaust.

Anyways, had my friend do a couple flybys for me while I stood on the side of the road to hear it from the outside... My expectations were exceeded, to say the least. I was so happy with the sound of it, so mean and clean. Don't know if I'm gonna go back to the O/R X ever again now. Thinking of purchasing an MRT Catted H now! The H-Pipe tone is so badass too...
