Default Finally Found Someone

To do an IRS swap with... after like 2 years of looking. Hopefully this weekend we will be able to get it done. Now the only mechanical parts on my car that arnt Cobra will pretty much be the motor/tranny. lol

Its pretty much an all stock 03 cobra IRS. He did add the bushings, but other than that its OEM. Im a little sad I have to give up my LM2 catback...but Im getting a Bassani out of it. Also im a lot sad I have to go down to 3.55s, my car is gonna feel like a dog.

Hopefully the guy doesnt back out though, thats been the case 2x already.

Once I get a new DD..(a long time from now) this will set me up for how I really want the car. then I can slam the bish with some coil overs.

The next "cobra mod" will be a t56 when my t45 takes a ****.. although that thing has held up like no other.

Meh its not really tat big of a deal. ill enjoy it for a while. it will be nice to be at 2000rpm vs 2500 while driving to school/work for a little while. Im gonna toss in some 4.30s when I get a t56 though.

No, I had a t45 OEM. I personally think the t45 is a great transmission except for the 1/R issues. longevity wise I dont think its any worse than the 3650, especialy with shift stops in place on an aftermarket shifter.
