im just paranoid about fools ding'n my doors... I park forever away from everybody

 

yeah I do this too, leave my windows open, sometimes the keys in the car depends really on where I am and how long I'm going to plan on being away from the car

 

I get paranoid a bit as well. I hate when i suddenly get the feeling of "did i lock my car". Of course the panic doesn't go away til i go out and check. I don't have an alarm on mine either, i've been thinking of having one put on though.

see i never get the "did i lock my car?" feeling, i get the, "my car better be there and nobody better have been breathing on it feeling," haha...

i feel like if i took off my hood/bumper/spoiler and put the stock back on i wouldnt at all be paranoid about parking it, ive seriously been considering lately trying to make my car not stand out from the crowd so much just so i can be at ease parking, mainly cuz i need to DD it to school next semester so ill be parking it for hours at a time =/

do exterior mods make a car more of a target for people to mess with? i think so.

 

Depends... i wouldnt even drive my car down in the D let alone parking it there... but in canton where i live i dont really worry about it due to it being one of the safest twshps in the country!

 

I had my Antenna stolen and some messcians tried to steal my billet fuel door at the mall. I walked out on them doing so , they were like Im trying to fix my car man and I open thee can on the one trying to snag it. Thats why I dont do to much to the exterior , I dont really worry about wheels and such . I have no sound system yet , but when I get one Im smart enough not to have blasting in ghetto areas , mall/shopping store parking lots and such.

 

yea and i still may not be done with anti theft devices

im down in the city of chi half of the week and the other half in the suburbs

i hear you guys saying you dont lock your cars and windows are open, even in the suburbs i have never once left a window open or a door unlocked unless i was working on it in the driveway orsomething, jsut depends on the area i guess



they didnt get my radar or my cd player bc i had them out of the car inside, i took my cd player out of my truck b4 i sold it, gunna put it in my mustang this spring

 

I just got my car back out of the shop after someone vadilazied my car causeing $7,000 in damage, smashed out windsheild and all left windows, smashed out all lights, keyed my new cawl hood and put designs in it, slashed my NEW tires, and scratched the fk out of my wheels, keyed my spoiler back bumper front fenders front bumper, doors back fenders trunk, pretty much the worst thing to ever happen! i would have rather been in an accident rather than my mom waking me up to honey im sorry but someone vandilazed your car AGAIN... im going to find this fker! he has done it 3 times in the past 5 months and i have a badass alarm but never heard it. parked infont on my garge. now i moved the vette outside and my stang goes in haha. I always look at the good side of things and in this case it was a chance for me to get my front grilles painted to match instead of the plastic black and also i got better balcked out tail lights and painted blackout panel all for free from insurance just watch your car and if you notice someone that looks at it and isnt like that badass, well those are the ones that are prolly going to break in. sorry if this worries you more but it does happen.oh ya i almost forgot they stole my JL subs and amp too now i have one in there that cant be removed without cutting my trunk off, its fiberglassed in place of my spare tire like it was before but that box could come right out. If they want in or want to fk it up, trust me they will.

Holy hell, three times in five months. I would have security cameras fixed on your stang and wait if he does it again so you can identify him then proceed to beat the hell out of him. That really sucks.

 

Hey i have a question for everyone... how can i get a picture for the sig nature like yall have but one that looks badass with the pics i have of my car. if anyone would like to make me one that would be sweet too! i love texas and the rebel flag if you would like to include that in it.
