worried about theft/damage?
haha ya im going to do that soon enough and i dont mess around. if i find them, and i will find them. idk what i will do yet but it will either end up in me being arrested or them being fked. here is the thing though, i lived in a different place the first time and i found who did it then. these last 2 times though it was the same person due to the fact that the same tire iron was used to smash out my windshield except last time they didnt key my car just slashed a tire and the window. this time thought was the last staw. i am kinda thinking it is my sisters ex cause he hates me and he stole my vette when i went to florida for a week so when i got back and found his new PS3 sitting in my sisters room which he decided to break into our house and stay there and throw partys which i found out from my neighbors and the cops, i took his PS3 and sold it on craiglist and his mom called mine haha my moms a pimp and told her to fk off and if she wants to press charges on me that she would press charges on her son for breaking in. idk but he is the only one who knows where i live and is very sneaky. i drive really good when im in my neighborhood and all my neighbors like me. justice will be served the TEXAS way lol.
id just go to his house and kick his ***, regardless of it it were him or not, he stole your vette and broke into your home...burn his down...it may not be him doin it, could be some of his friends so that his hands stay clean
I lost my keys back in Dec. If I remember correctly $ 125.00 for both at a dealer... Back in 99 my X m-inlaw bought a Cobra vert. Within 3 mos. someone cut open the top twice for frickin' cd's, also keyed on a few occassions. She must have been seeing your sisters ex on the side!! LOL, He sounds like the douche bag capable of vandalizing your ride..
There are a number of professional locksmith products that can program the car...
and also it is the stealership.... listen to cliffy and check with a reputable lockshop in your area.
On my own note, if somebody wants in my car, it really isn't that hard to do. But I keep it locked more as a deterrent to keep the kids out of it. The time this car was broke into, all that was really taken was change, my radar detector (which I rarely used anyway), a flashlight, and misc charger cords. And that was most likely mostly due to not having it locked that night.
The cameras are a good idea, but think twice before getting one of those couple hundred dollar setups at like sams. We are looking at getting a good camera system at work, and the salesman was saying that most of the time video is only good if somebody knows and can recognize the person in it, but if it is a random person it really doesn't help that much. And this is on a lot better system than those at places like sams.

I live in a very shady part of town. We've had three cars broken into in our yard, one car stolen (it was a neon, no one cried), our shed has gotten robbed a couple times, and our house got broken into once. When I first got my car I worried about leaving it alone outside without an alarm system. I made my own. I park it outside my window and have an AK-47 by my bed. So far it's been a foolproof system.
