Default Thinking about DDM?

I have had my lights, 8000K dual beams, 55w, now for a tad under 5 months... On my way home, i get in my car, turn the car on, turn the lights on, and notice that on light was burnt out. Thats right. 5 months and I already need to replace a ballast. They do have life time warranty but this is pathetic. It didn't last me half a year. Its going to be real annoying if this continues. Before this I had MMR which were not no where close to the brightness of DDM but they lasted me 2 years...

LOL, I hope I didn't jinx ya. I still can't figure out why one of mine went out. I checked all the wiring again, it was working fine for a couple days, then all the sudden out. I'm going to check the wiring again this weekend and if still don't work, I'm calling them.

Yea, I posted a link i thought showing my how to article. Well as long as you followed the instructions and your out a head light then you have a bad ballast. Change it out.

Do you have to ship the old one back to get a replacement or do you know? I never seen your write up but your ballast looks different I think.

yeah I had a set, one went out within a month. But who cares, just get it replaced. I have had friends with more expensive ones, they did not fair any differently. It seems that these things dont last more than a year or two anyway.
