Default Throttle problems

Hi guys im new to the sight and don't know how things really work but i was wondering if anyone could help me out here. i have a "REVING" problem. if i stomp on the gas it takes forever for it to come back down. now i have changed out my throttle body, throttle air sensor, and throttle air control valve. After all that its still lagging on coming down when i punch it anyone have any suggestion?

All of our cars have the "hanging rpm" problem. Best way to fix it is to do the IAC mod, do some searches I can't find the link right now sorry man.

Whay you are experiencing is the electronic dashpot function. It's an emissions related use of the IAC to prevent the overly rich mixture that occurs when you "chop" the throttle.

That aside, you should not routinely be "punching" the throttle just to rev the engine up and sound cool--it's not good for the engine, for a variety of reasons...

I know what you mean, my grandson and some of his friends came by a couple weekends or so--we had the hood open on my car and I couldn't resist blipping throttle a couple times...
