My headers scrape speed bumps and they are bassani optimum length. I believe they are shorter than lt's.. I'll let someone else give you the horsepower gains with fear of being wrong and looking like an ***.. Lol. Too much work to look it all up on an iPod.

I have long tubes with a 1.5" drop, and have no issues with scraping, except once in a great while over a huge speed bump or something. As long as your ride is not totally slammed, you'll be fine.

As far as the power gains go, you won't gain a ton with just bolt ons (maybe 5-10 hp) but you will gain the power and torque over the entire power band. It will make your a little faster though. When i did mine, it seemed to rev out a little better as well. Instead of dropping off around 5.5k or so, it pulls to all the way to 6k with less effort now.

If you plan on doing headers for sure, definitely do the long tubes. The pluses outweigh any of the small possible scraping issues, and they sound much better than shorties too.

I have headman LT's and M-5300-C springs with energy suspension isolators. 1" front 3/4 rear. No scrapes at all and my apartment has some insane bumps.
