best cams for daily driver?? please need adivce

Arrow best cams for daily driver?? please need adivce

ok so my car is a daily driver it sees alot of highway miles cause its the only way to work and unfortanately i also have alot of stop and go miles do to traffic i debating wether i should get cams or not is gas going to be a major diffrence?? if i do get cams its going to be stage 2 nothing else, please if you guys can advice me in which are some good cams to get for all the driving i do? which do u guys recommend, my car is a 2002 gt and so far i have bbk cai accufabb 70mm tb and plenum, underdrive pulleys, bbk longtube headers, x pipe with straight exhaust, diablosport predator (93 octane tune), steeda tri-ax short shifter, 3:73 gears, frpp lsd w/ carbon disc, moser 31 spline axles, tokiko shock and struts, eibach pro kit springs thanks alot

You might want to look into Modular Head Shop stage 2 cams. If you plan on staying with the stock PI heads, these are one of the few stage 2 cams you can use without having possible piston to valve clearance issues. You can run stock valve springs as well. They will make good power on the stock heads with no loss down low. Gas mileage may suffer a little (no matter what cams you use) but nothing major at all.

I'm not sure where you are at in Florida, but MHS is in the Orlando area.

Youre going to need a dyno tune with cams, just to warn you to budget the money into your build budget. The cams will be worth it and when i was talking to a fellow member on here he still got like 26mpg highway with 3.90's. That member is/was DeltaV. I dont know how much he is on here, if ever, anymore. But a PM to him might be worth a shot. I think he had CMS stage 2 cams.

If you go with stage II cams na i would be amazed if you got 17-18 city/highway if you drive car hard at all.
