but like what is it thats so much better about a 4v, im sure it's a novice questions but, im coming from the v6 world lol And i think i've probably looked at around 200 cars so far, and the issue im running into is when i find a 01 cobra there asking way to much or it's got 100k miles...I really don't get it plus I kinda am being picky and want either a black or charcoal O and I dont really want a 98 cobra, those i can find for 10k but i just like look of a 02-03 GT better

4V's make more power, respond better to mods (if you so choose to do them), and, c'mon, it's a COBRA.

Also remember the insuracne on a Cobra is going to be more expensive. Coming from a V6 you are going to be more than happy with a GT, unless you plan on getting Mod crazy.

How do you go from being set on Black or Gray to Bright Green???
Since you asked for opinions that Green Cobra is just nasty... Again only an opinion.

The green cobra needs some work to look good IMO.. It is a better starting platform, but i kinda like the GT better..

I was in the same boat as you when i was selling my v6... A friend of a friend was selling his 99 or 01 cobra i forget. It was pretty much stock, tan interior, BUT it was in an accident. Car was fixed and drove fine. Only had 22k miles on it... The guy was asking like 13,500 for it, but it needed new tires. He was going to trade it into the dealership for a new truck. I told him that i will offer him $1,000 over what the dealership offered him. Apparently he didn't like that deal so i said forget it. Dealer gave him like 9,000 and i said i would give 11k.. HIS LOSS!

I don't have any regrets about not getting that kid's cobra though. I love my GT and i got it with a bunch of mods on it myself. It drives great and it's been a great car for 2+ years now... It had the black leather i wanted, and i like laser red. So it worked out for me. I got a killer deal on it as well.

Go 4v, its get alot better mpg than my 2v did, and has a ton of more power! I do kinda miss my 2v though, but that was just centemental value.
