Default Come vote. To buy or not to buy

As some of you guys know, i said that i have the option of purchasing a Maximum Motorsports Strut Tower Brace from a 99/01 cobra for my car... The Brace is fine and i would be picking it up and test fitting it to make sure a brace from a 99/01 cobra will fit on the GT no problem.

The price is only $30 for it...

I don't know if it's going to help my car out, but for $30, should i get it and test it out?

I know steve0914 had one on his coupe and he said it was awesome... And i know that verts really benefit from the braces as well. Should i buy it? Or save myself the hassle of a STB (if/when i ever need to work on the engine). I feel like this might stiffen up my ride a little bit more..

I already have some FLSFC's, steeda swaybar, some kind of X brace, shocks/struts/springs. Is this STB going to make a difference or just dress up my engine bay?

What do you guys think i should do?! DON'T FORGET TO VOTE

Get it, it's just something else you can tell people you have on your car. Be sure you make it sound REALLY IMPORTANT when you explain it. Tell them it provides 15 more RWHP..........

Sounds like you got $30 to spend on it. So just get it. What do they cost for a new one, over $100? Try it. If you like it, you got a deal. If not, sell it. You should be able to get $30 back out of it. Besides, it just sounds like you're asking for somebody to give you a reason to get, because you really want it. So I'll just say Dooo eeet!

yeah man, it's thirty bucks. Hell it costs more than that to go to the movies with your girl, and you can't sell her if you don't like her.

BUY!!

For $30 there's really no choice to be made. Can't believe somebody voted "no" on this, regardless of price. They don't make it much more difficult overall to work on the engine, and can be pulled off in about 15 minutes if it is in the way of doing something. Install takes about an hour, only because you have to drill a few holes, be careful when removing your plastic cowl piece, mine was a little bit brittle and cracked in a couple places.

Just buy it. I dont think that its going to help you out all that much but it very well could. And at least it will look like youre really hardcore into handling when you pop the hood seeing that STB on there. If you dont like it, you can sell it to some other cobra/gt owner that wants one.
