I don't really ever bottom out. In regards to it being worth it, I would say yes...I think the the lowered stance with wide tires give the car a true "muscle car" look. With a lowered car, the ride is going to be a bit stiffer...if you're roads are HORRIBLE than I may think twice about how much you decide to drop you car, but overall, I think you'll be fine.

Well I'm happy to say I was actually able to take mine out yesterday and had absolutely no rubbing issues with the wheel and tire combo I have, I cant remember the back spacing. But I took it out and around the yard as well and worked the suspension to see if I would get any rub, I think Id have to almost jump the car and be haulin az for it to rub at all. Only sad thing was I didnt see a little round hump on one street and it nicked my exhaust but I have LT's with o/r x-pipe and it hangsss low and leaks.(Not fond of the bbk xpipe, my clamps or w/e you want to call them are not strong enough, atleast mine are not and tend to hang a tid bit so that don't help). I been thinking of going to a mac pro chamber. Also roads here suck, bad. lol You'll just have to be careful pulling in and out of places and odd obsticales in the road stuff like that, but I think its well worth it, I personally love my new drop and look

Dont go with 265 35's in the front...such a small tire for a mustang. i'd go with a 275 35 18...which is what will be going on my car eventually.

^ I disagree

I happen to think a 275/35, although approved for a 9" wheel, is a bit oversized and tends to be sloppy in the corners. I think a 265/35 is wonderful for a 9" wheel and even a 255 or 245 if one is REALLY into handling performance.

Well for street performance and wanting a slight bit of tire out past the lip of the rim, i'd suggest 275's. But if one doesnt mind having the lip of the rim exposed for things to happen to it, the smaller sizes would be perfectly fine. Im running 265's up front right now and they are tiny for my tastes...

I just dont like how tiny they are and they are going to be about an inch shorter than the back tires if youre going with a 295 35.

So 275-35s up front won't rub, with a 9" wheel with Eibach Pro Kit Springs? I like the idea of 275s up front with 295-35s on the rear.

A 275 will occasionaly rub a little bit (depends on a few factors), but nothing major. Pay close attention to the edges of fender that are directly in front of the tires (9:00 & 3:00 postions). There is a section there that is pretty long and can cut a tire if it makes hard contact.

Thanks for the input. Maybe 265s would be safer on the front. Thanks again.

Im running 275 on a 9 inch rim with 45 RATIO ... The idiots put the wrong size profile on mine.. this is the only time that the tires have ever rubbed on my car with the 2 inch drop. It ONLY rubs when i make a turn all the way to the left, but turning the wheel to the right there is no rub. My 275 do not bulge at all.

I have 275/35/18s up front and havent had any issues with any rub yet, thats with H&R SS with the 1.75" drop in the front.
