Just got back from a little drive. I was a bit more spirited then I was after coming back from the install. And I can say there is a lot more pick up in the car then before. I can't wait to really get into it. Right now no whine or growl on deceleration.

Lol Ive had 4.10s for about 2 months and I kind of regret getting them. Just posted in another topic how I can't get any traction. Don't want to hijack this thread though so just keep it at that.

Congrats on getting them.
Have fun

driver mod... thats all that is. learn to drive the car and you wont have issues. I have no problems with traction; just remember...there not stock gears you have to use the clutch more.

lol, the lack of traction isn't the gears...it's your foot and tires. I'm willing to bet that you have some cheapo tires on your ride. hmmm??

I also regret 4.10's. Shoulda gone with 4.30's or 4.56's with my auto. I don't really drive 130 + that much.

I do way too much highway driving for 4.10's. Trust me I kicked around the gear ratio for a long time and decided on 3.73's for a few reasons. Good all around gear, drive too many highway miles and might possibly go SC on day. I guess we will see what happens.

Yeah I knew they would be , I trust the guy who installed them. He's been building Automotive rear ends since forever , I just never thought to ask to him about a break in period on gears but then again he would of told me to be gentle to for while.
