im in alittle situation right now about what i wanna do with my car. i want more power so im thinking about selling my Vortech V2 strim kit with 10lbs of boost to possibly buy a single 62mm hellion turbo kit. do you guys think i should do it and go turbo or just keep the strim and call it a day?

sell the s-trim and buy a t-trim and crank up the boost?

are your internals forged? IF you are gonna do turbo, do the nice kit, the hellion kit is the cheap one right?

+1 are your internals forged? if they aren't theres no reason to spend thousands of dollars on a turbo just to get the same HP you could with your current SC.

and no hellion isnt cheap.

I have a 10% OD balancer I'd sell you that would increase your numbers by about 3lbs of boost. (Al least that's what I got with the S-trim)

im still stock longblock and will be till it blows!!!

i don't wanna up the boost anymore with the strim since im at 10lbs now as it is and make 410/393. Im just alittle unhappy having to wait for the power since my peak power is at 6000rpm.

the hellion is by far not a cheap kit when it comes to turbo kits. With the 99-04 single 62mm kit they offer for $6000, i can make 450-475hp and 460-480tq at only 9lbs or so. Im probably gonna have it tuned for that but get an in car adjuster so i can back the boost off when i wanna.

Well have one custom made. That's what I'm doing and it will cost me 4k after everything is said and done.
