What does a stock 03 GT 5 speed run in the 1/4???
Just trying to gauge where my car is at without actually running it at the track. I was unable to find anything online re: the 1/4 mile times for a stock 03 GT. Thanks.

High 13's stock with street tires? I have never heard of this. Even all the magazines and stats on the net i have ever come across the lowest i seen it is 14.1@99
A friend of mine was able to run 14.4@100 last summer in a 2001 GT bone stock. His mph was really good but i guess he does not know how to launch properly yet. Il be going to the track this summer so please do tell me what i need to do to hit 13.9?

if you believe everything you see in the magazines I feel sorry for you.. all you need is a decent track and a driver who knows what he is doing. 13.9s are very doable...many members have done it on here.

yea I guess you could say they are lying.. they take some guy n stick him in a car hes never driven before and tell him to go down the track. Thats what the magazines do. search the forums, theres a lot of people who have posted 13.9x. all you need is a track that is prepped. your 60' time is the key. I think all you need to do is get a 2.0 and drive the **** out of it.
most of the times you see that are 14.4 and stuff like that are from either first timers, or people at high altitudes. here in san antonio there are a lot of people that pull 13.9s with no mods. a few bolt ons and gears are good for mid 13s here.

Just because a magazine posts that they got a certain time doesn't mean that everyone will get that time. There will be plenty that are faster and more than plenty that are slower. What is so hard to understand?
