So yeah unless you have a pipe bender and can weld a turbo is most likely not going to be cheaper than a supercharger. On3performance will ship a kit to your door with injectors/fuelpump/kmember/a-arms?/turbo for $32xx that was with 60# injectors idk if it'll be cheaper with 42s.

everyone i have talked to that actually has the kit, not they heard it from a friend of a friend, said they have not had any problems with the pipes that come with the on3 kit. the v-bands arent the greatest but those are pretty cheap to buy different/better ones.

Its not the metal used. They supposedly use 304 SS which is good material and he claims that it is 16 gauge which is also good. The problem lies in the welding of the pipes. If not done correctly there will be cracking on the welds. I still haven't seen his welds. They also use cheap V bands, BOV, and waste gates, hell even the MP is a cheap turbo (but some what reliable).

Headers, its a give and take relationship.. I loved my headers too but had to get rid of them. The power will make you forget about them. You also might want to look around locally. I found a guy who is willing to build a complete turbo kit with all the parts for $4K! He is letting me use his tools that will help me install my gauges, pod, fuel pump, injectors...

Hmm. Never thought to see if a shop could make a kit for me around here. The pony down kit seems pretty solid though. Decent blowoff and wastegate at least. As far as the turbo goes I knownim not goin to be runnin it high enough to need he best of the best. Prolly just gonna do a low psi anywAy.. And paying for install must be hell! Especially I my headers need to come out. Was that 4000 installed at you local place?

Yes kinda. We are going to install it together. When he is bending the piping we will slowly be peicing it together and mocking it up to the car as we go. So it's going to be installled slowly but it's a must. So yes. It's included. Indirectly. Plus do the install yourself. It's not difficult.

Ponydown would have been my option if I didn't find one custom here. He has good reviews for his kits.

what about turbos off of a Turbocoupe? i don't know if thay are any larger than that of a evo/srt-4

there was a guy on tccoa.com that trid doing a quat turbo setup...then went to a twin turbo....but he was a back yard mechanic who made alllll the pipes/bends from scrap. and did not come out so well. come to think of it, i dont think he even finished it.

http://forums.tccoa.com/showthread.php?t=117209

he got so much crap for the hack jobs he does then comes off like he knows exactly what he is doing....yet only ever turbo'd a ford ranger.

page 11 has more pics and some videos.

edit:
happen to find this 2 sec after posting lol from the guy...
"local wrecking yard. Each one come off of a 2.2L turbo dodge motor. They have tiny .38 ar housings for quick spool and each one can flow enough cfm for 200hp roughly."

Those turbos are way to small. You will have compressor surge like no other. You will need a bigger turbo.
