Default What's the quietest straight through catback?

I'm going to a Bassani Catted X tomorrow and need something a lot quieter than the Borla Stingers I am currently running. I remember how loud it was when I had an O/R H and it was obscenely loud.

For the time being, I will run the stock Bullitt mufflers, but I would like to find a straight thru design to save some weight.

SLP powerflo's are pretty quiet, as well as regular magnaflows and the regular borlas. Bassanis arent too loud, but they dont sound good. neither do magnaflows but they make decent power for some reason. I like the SLP powerflo's and regular borlas in this application.

Go Steeda. Quiet at Idle and Cruise (Not super quiet) but opens up when you go WOT or give it some gas. Sounds very deep. That is what I am running on my cobra and I've had pretty much every exhaust combo out there lol.

Thanks guys, I'll have to look into the powerflo and the steeda mufflers. I was thinking about the regular borla mufflers.

I would say either Magnaflow, Borla, or the power-flo's like everyone stated....

But the problem with having a "straight through design to save weight" is that most of them like the ones above are sized/shaped like chambered mufflers and just have a lot of packing around the straight-through tubing in the middle so I don't think you will be saving much weight...

I guess I'm not opposed to a chambered muffler, but I just won't go with anything heavy like flows

If thats the case then I think you'll be pretty happy with either Bassani or Corsa....I think the Steeda ones are chambered too and sound pretty good and mellow

Regular Magnaflow mufflers might work for you then.
