My family thin im Crazy ( litteraly, no joking) Because all i do mod and drive fast ish lol. I told my dad yesterday that i ordered 4.10's and a tuner and he was like" you do it just to aggravate me dont you?"i just busted out laughing and said next up if longtubes and a s/c'er and he said "bull****!" and my family has about 1500 acres of farm land so they know nothing else lol.
It really is addicting though, its all i think about. idk how i made it through high school, i'd make mod lists on the back of my tests.

My parents are the same way. I called my parents last night all excited to tell them how happy I was to win a bid on ebay for two Pirelli Super Sport summer tires for 135 dollars....and my Mom goes, "What do I care? I'm going to hear the same damn story in June after you burn those tires off like an @$$hole" I laughed my @$$ off and then proceeded to tell my Mom that for every time she busts my chops about my car being loud, or driving fast, an extra 100 dollars gets thrown into my separate bank account for a supercharger.....

I hear that, I ran out of easy **** to do to my car(bolt-ons). So, I've been getting bored with the car. I find it hard to justify spending a grand on cams, or a few grand on cams and heads or a super charger. Bah

Yea, well when those mods add like 100+hp Mustang3, its somewhat acceptable to spend that much money for a decent increase in power. Now to spend $3000 on bolt ons and get 50rwhp is retarded, but to spend $3000 on a whipple and supporting mods and get like 100rwhp or more is acceptable.

Well right now my goals are to get the IRS into the car, bushing upgrades(delrin), coilovers, and adjustable tie rod end kit for the rear, then the front will probably consist of a MM tubular k member kit and call it a day there for now. Then after that its up in the air really, other than a light bar is for sure. Some options are Magnum T56 swap with a 26spl input shaft and a mcleod twin disc and 4.30 rear gears, DIY supercharger kit(not likely until i actually fix my f'ed up drivetrain), start saving for the motor i want, or just settle and get a 4v motor together with forged parts and cams. Im really leaning towards the T56 swap just because it will fix the transmission that im currently working with and it will hold 700+lb ft torque, which will be more than my car will probably make. So im probably gonna shoot for that by the end of 2010. My summer jobs(all 3) should allow me to afford it, but wont have a whole lot of time to enjoy it til the school year starts again. Right now, i dont even care about the power aspect, i just want this thing planted on the ground and the only way to get it up off the ground is to pry it off with jaws of life. Then im going to worry about power next winter/spring/summer, which will hopefully consist of the new 5.0 motor with forged internals. Ive thought about waiting to see what whipple comes up with for the 5.0 before i decide on what compression i want to run and how much fuel im gonna need. I'd like to run a small 2.3 whipple or something to that affect with about 17-19lbs of boost and make about 600rwhp. That would make me plenty happy. Thats the overall goal for the car, but those plans are planned about 4 years out. lol
