Default head/cam nitrous vs s trim

For ****s and giggles what would you do? Let's assume the car has a good driver, full drag suspension, dragradials, and the appropriate gear. Would you put an s trim with intercooler on a stock motor? Or spray 100/125 on a stage 2 head stage 2 cam set up? Either way you would plan on upgrading the bottom end in the future, and running a bigger shot, or more boost. Assume the car is a DD and gets raced almost everyweekend.

Are you gonna forge the bottom end?

Umm i mean do you drive like an ******* daily? lol if i did i would want a blower.

How big a shot? Would you be close to the same power reguardless?

Im no nitrous expert, not by a long shot, but what would the cost of filling a bottle be every single weekend?

if you go H/C/I N20 thats probably = to maybe more expensive than a blower, + you gotta buy refills.

your call but i've always prefered blowers just because of the constant power.

Blower would make approx 370rw and nitrous would be 100 maybe a 125 shot... Ofcourse later down the road a forged bottom end would be put to use and you'd either spray more or throw more boost at it

I personally like the idea of the power always being there, I'm trying to decide between a Procharger or a turbo at the moment. I think in the long run, you'll make more power with the blower. I think to match the power you can get off boost with nitrous you'll be running a large enough shot that you may have to get nitrous specific cams to handle the juice.

edit: Yet at the same time, with the torque you seem to get out of nitrous and the way the power hits, as long as you can get it to hook you probably don't need the numbers blower cars are putting down to run the same times.

Supercharger. Nitrous is great for a track car, but having used it in a DD in the past, it's a bit of a pain in the *** after time. Especially if you have to drive 45 minutes to get the damn bottle filled.

If you go FI get a cam that is compatable with the type of SC you plan on getting.

I think the HCI + nitrous car would be more fun initially (and substantially faster) but if you're gonna build it up either way, i'd do a blower...all else being equal of course.
