Is it bad to accelerate rather quickly on the regular. I'll put it like this I usually keep it under 2.5 rpms but sometimes I'll go to 3k (rarely like once in a blue moon), but usually shift at 2.5k on the regular is that bad for the motor for DD driving? Should I keep it to 2k for the most part? It's a GT 5 speed...with bolt ons

Is this a serious question? are you really scared your hurting your motor when you shift in the 2.5/3k range?
You are fine!!!!!!!!! Might be time to grow a pair and have fun with your car also

I love this car, and I am a broke college student so Im being cautious. I used to have an 01 gt vert (it was an auto), I used to rip that thing a new one on the highway ( I can honestly say I've pegged the speedo needle on that one completely)...but this is my first 5 speed and it's louder then a motha when I start to rev high (I know it's just the x-pipe/other bolt ons) I just get nervous with that plastic intake manifold I've heard horror story's about it.

You can rev that **** to the moon. Your car has a rev limiter. You're not going to hurt anything.

Never gonna hurt it at 3K RPM. Heck sometimes I rev to around 3500RPM in 2nd and then skip to 4th gear.
