Default question about catback

alright so I took the stock catback off today cut it out.. I bought my friends flowmaster catback because he was parting out his gt its a solid piece both sides, all welded together... so basically what im asking is whats the easiest way to drop to rear to fit it in... Because im running an open h pipe right now

I think you will have to cut over the axles and weld it back together...

Cut it right after the mufflers and then it should be just like installing the actual catback.

Well dropping the rear is more trouble than cutting the catback and putting it back on a car IMHO. I'd cut the CB after the mufflers and get some V-band clamps welded on and just clamp them into place. Wont leak, which Flowmaster catbacks are notorious for doing. Just a suggestion though. Dropping the rear is just way too much hastle i'd say.
