What would u guys say i will run in the 1/8th? I'm going down to Shelor motor mile in Va fri.just kinda want to get an idea. Here what i have done to the car.

Its a 2000 gt

mac x-pipe with flowmaster mufflers
JTL ram air intake with 75mm TB an plenum
5.0 pro shifter
mac timing adjuster set at A10.

You should run low 9's and without traction control. With street tires I am assuming, you will need to slip the clutch (if manual trans) to prevent tire spin. Dont do a burn out, just quickly spin the tires for a sec to get dirt off then line up.

Run with TC off. bring the rpms up to about 3000 of the line and slip the clutch out while applying more pressure on the gas, but try to keep it from spinning as much as possible. A little spin is better than bogging down. On street tires, you'll probably spin the crap out of second if you powershift, so I would shift into 2nd fast but no powershift and then powershift the rest. Since you are stock cams, I'd say shift around 5500rpm. You don't make any power past that point and you will run slower if you shift past that point.

9.40-9.80 Where is this track located? Altitude may play a big part in the numbers.

Also drive completely around the waterbox...and spin the tires just enough to clean all the rocks and crap off.

ok not trying to step on anyones toes...but i have a different technique...lol. First i drive into the water box....although my burnout is not very long 3ish seconds and drive out of the box with the tires still going...that way you dont park hot tires back in the water... Then the launch youll just need to practice, id say likly youll leave slipping the clutch at 2500 or less, this is what i had to do. Assuming you have no gears, this should work to. Powershift second. No joke. If you heated the tires a bit, then with factory gears and a 5 speed, you can powershift second, youll get a squeel or a chirp, either way i can garuentee its faster than not power shifting. and try to get as fast a shift as you can into 3rd. also i shifted at 6k. mind you just a bolt on car. So i didnt have anything special. And you timed your cams? did that help?

no traction control...your the traction control....only time id say use it is if you were doing bracket racing, probebly be easier at that point to run the same times....
