It won't really add anything, at wot the ac clutch is off anyway...but if you remove the entire ac system it'll free up some weight

I think its worth it for you since your ac compressor is out anyway. It frees up weight and is alot cheaper. And since you don't use ac really then who cares. You wont feel any power difference, but considering its cheaper then replacing something you don't use, go for it.

I'd do it if my a/c was out... and lived in michigan lol. Weight reduction is one of the best ways to make your car faster and handle better. I would take my a/c out if my car wasn't a DD still.

Like stated if the compressor clutch is not running then there is no drag on the motor. Pulling the compressor just to install that a/c elimination pulley is worthless. And as for removing the a/c compressor to get rid of the weight is not worth it either. It is not going to make any noticeable difference. If you remove and decide later on you want a/c back it is going to be alot more expensive to fix when you leave the lines open to get contaminated.

I did the A/C delete and I think it looks a lot cleaner. I did not notice any power gains or handling differences. If you do not use it then get rid of it! Really simple to install. All you have to do it cut out all the extra A/C pieces to clean it up under the hood.

I lived in NY when I did it. I used my A/C maybe once and never seen my gas tank empty so fast ha. Since I never used it I said f it and cut it out when I rebuilt my engine. Now i live in VA and I suck it up when it gets hot. Just gotta roll the windows down and drive fast ha. Now.. next fall I am moving to Texas! Wonder if I will miss the A/C or not? I like to think that the A/C delete has saved me gas all those times I might have used the A/C ha

my ac went out in my 99 stang so I did the a/c delete, bought mine from auto zone though. the compressor weighed at most 10 lbs... (its really not THAT much). As far as noticing any power... I mean now you can turn ur ac **** to "AC" or "Max AC" and still have some HP left in the engine.. but that's about it lol. Doesn't really do anything to add power to the car (because I'm sure you drive with the AC off most of the time already)

Yeah i didn't think it add any power. It just out an has no use.an 90% of the time i just roll down the windows anyways. Just thinking it be a good way to free up some pounds.
