Default Build Your Own Cobra Brake Kit

Calipers with brackets and pads ($209): http://www.buyfordracing.com/shop/pr..._id=689cPath=6

Front rotors ($115): http://www.speedconcepts.net/product...roducts_id=787

Stainless brake lines for cobra brakes ($150): http://www.lethalperformance.com/03-...-lines-p-14968

Rear GT-to-Cobra conversion ($175): http://www.buyfordracing.com/shop/pr..._id=477cPath=6

Hardware set needed for install if you choose the calipers that say "Cobra" on them ($14): http://www.buyfordracing.com/shop/pr..._id=509cPath=6

Hardware set not needed for Bullitt or Mach 1 calipers.

That should be about everything you need to make your car have cobra brakes. I know the calipers are the Bullitt special edition calipers, but they are the same as the cobras, they just dont say cobra on them. You can choose to buy the cobra calipers from buyfordracing.com if you want. I believe that they are $40 more. Its all up to you. Im not sure about mounting hardware, but that you can probably pick up from a local parts store if need be.

Total what i have listed comes out to $649 for all cobra brakes with front Bullitt calipers and stainless steel brake lines.

This is for everyone out there that wants to have good braking at a fraction of the cost of buying the actual kits out there. I've seen complete 03 cobra brakes for all 4 corners go for over a grand, and this is doing it for 65% of that. Save yourself some bank and do it the right way and have great stopping power.

This thread can go either way. You are either going to get people that will actually use this and go buy them...Or you will get the people that just comment and say "O I wish I had money" or "I'll use this as a buying guide for later", or "Thanks bro" lol.....I think I covered everything.

Sucks that BFR took down the entire front kit.... When I purchased my cobra front brake upgrade from them about a year ago... you could still buy everything as a kit from them. I wonder why they stopped doing that?
