I wanna paint this and throw it on my 2000 GT. It says in the description of the bumper that it is for replacement on 2003, 2004 Cobras only. But i've heard that these fit.

Thats pretty cheap... sure it will fit but not sure if it is a product i would trust!?

It will fit. Everything between an 03 cobra and a GT are the same below the sheet metal. If its OEM quality then it will fit. Mine is an OEM quality reproduction and it fit just fine. You will have to do what everyone else does and push the horn looking things that come up on the side of the headlights back to keep them from kissing the hood when you shut it.

Horn looking things? Are you saying that I will have this problem with the lights if I get the bumper?

No, the header panel mounting point(the "horn looking things on the inside of the headlights...know what im talking about) will hit the hood if installed with stock holes because the GT and Cobra hood are different and the GT hood would make contact with the top of those mounting points and crack paint and/or bumper. So you have to push those back and drill new holes for install.

Still not following. lol. I'm not getting a cobra hood, I'm talking about the cobra front bumper.

Now look at the second picture...its a cropped version of the first picture of the passenger headlight and surrounding structures. You see the piece just to the right of the headlight that extends up to meet the hood? That piece, when the bumper is going in for install needs to be pushed back and a hole redrilled in the new place to assure you dont get hood-to-bumper contact. Do you understand now?
