5.4 navigator blower?

Default 5.4 navigator blower?

hey everyone, i've been emailing this dude from kenne bell for a while now about supercharging this 5.4 4 valve out of a navigator. i wanna throw a blower from a gt500 on there (the new 3.6 mammoth ) anyway, he says it wont work, but when i asked why it wont, he stopped emailing. why wont a gt500 blower work on my 5.4? i'm definitely going to forge the engine but i'm just researching now. i dont wanna go to turbos, i want the blower whine throw any ideas my way. thanks everybody.

The intake ports on the heads are different from the GT500/GT heads, I don't believe they will line up correctly. Not 100% on the bolt pattern either.

I would think its the heads and maybe the dimension of the blower.

Yes the heads are the hold up.

Yes definitely the heads.. the Navigator use a variation of the tumble port heads and the intake ports won't line up with the GT500 blower.

Get yourself a nice Vortech, or Procharger and be done with it. Much less hassle.

Pretty much anytime I set a goal to get a new certification for work I tend to dive right back into cars... So anytime you see me on here this much its pretty much a guarantee that I should be doing something else at work...

in fact I am keeping away from my real work so much I ordered a new torque wrench.

just pick yourself up some GT500 heads and get the 4.2L KB Mammoth. My buddy is making 730rwhp on 18lbs with the 3.6 and another .6L should make that much better numbers. But just ditch the navi heads or find a blower that will work with them. I think the navi heads are similar to the GT/Cobra R heads if im not mistaken(not 100% sure though) and if so, you could probably use a blower manifold from a GT if you can find one. But again, im not 100% sure.
