it's a neat idea, but I don't think you'd pick up much hp versus mounting the cold air intake in the passenger side fenderwell. that way it still draws in cooler air effectively, and there is already a hole for it.

+1 on the nonfunctionaility of scoops. At the very least I wanna just make a hole in my hood and take that plastic filling out of the scoop to make that thing function like a heat extracter. Again, I think the new edge is one of the best looking mustangs ever, but I hate the fake rear brake vent scoops!
