What problems are you experiencing that make you believe you need to "clean something"?

Seafoam was developed in the late 40s/early 50s to clean gunk out of improperly operated/maintained/stored marine engines--that's the "sea" part.

Unless you '06 Mustang has been run being cooled by ice cold seawater, never had the old changed, or stored all winter in a shack out on a dock, you probably don't need to run any snake-oil through it...

This is how seafoam goes down on MF:

1) A OP asks about Seam foam
2) a seasoned MF poster says its the worst thing out there....

WTF IS sea foam? Snake-oil? I know you just said what it was used for... but I mean, is this stuff claimed as some multi-purpose end-all be-all product? And for that matter, why does EVERYBODY that seems to know something about it say its the worst **** for their car there is?

LOL...No.

I assume that the fuel system needs to be Cleaned out, specifically the injectors. I have had my injectors cleaned (on other vehicles) at a Oil Change place using a bottled injector cleaner but thought that it could be done at home.

After looking here and throughout the rest of the forums, several others have done this maintenance as well but just looking for someone who may have the "Exact" procedure down pat.

I have 47,000 Kms (25,000 Miles) on the car and am considering either getting it done at the Stealership or doing it my self.

BG PRODUCTS 44K if you want to do preventative maintenence on your fuel system.

I have seen it work miracles on cars with SES from misfire due to clogged injectors. About $25 a can and just pour in with fuel.
