lol@ only 24 pounds diff....you have any idea how much weight that is off rotational mass...ive written many things about the .5 second i lost in the quarter by adding that much wieght to my wheels....lol And i think im the only one with BC fr500s in a new edge on here, so i feel good for being the same but DIFFERENT!! and it was my idea first, i bought them like barely months after they showed up. now that i have them i want those new godspeed BC rims....

yea 24lbs is a ****load of weight when speaking about rotational mass. I used my friends 15" Enkei SPs at an autocross even and my car felt a ****-ton faster from my TT2s. I even noticed a difference going from TT2s to Cobras and thats only about 8lbs total lost.

There are many times when I get bummed about jumping on the deal that I got with the TF's, the rims I really wanted were only like 2k more including repaint and whatnot=/ Would love to get the set of volks I was looking at. TF and CCW are nice looking but the weight of bbs, volks, gram lights, etc are awesome.

Links to some of these wheels...im not usually a fan of those wheels as I used to be an import guy and im still very narrow-minded about the specific wheels that should be run on certain cars. Like BBS RK's are about as far as i get into those wheel brands like volk and stuff. I feel, in my opinion, that those dont exactly belong on a mustang. People have the same 5 different wheel patterns because they work and look good.

True, but I have always been the type to get what I like and try to make it work, I'll think about posting pics but I am still debating selling the tf's and getting the volks (about 6 lbs lighter all around) so I'm reluctant to see someone run off and buy my dream rims and stick em on a mustang.. oooh that'd really grind my gears.

Volk wheels are

By far my favorite wheel company.

And Teej.. what you said is exactly why I dont want a Mustang anymore. Heaven forbid you do something to your car that 5000 other people dont have done to it. You **** is getting a little ridiculous when you cant even pick what wheels you like without someone getting butthurt about it because there not OEM Ford wheels.. lol

Why you jumpin on your high horse HOSS? Im not butthurt, im just saying what i like. You have what you like, i have what i like, and what i like just happens to fall in the realms of what most others like. It works for most. You dont like what you have so youre changing it and kudos for you doing that. If you like your car and whats done to it, then thats all that matters. I wouldnt be happy with those wheels on my car, especially with how clean OP's car looks with the black bullitts on there already. I did say that im narrow minded about that, but that doesnt mean that im not open to new ideas. I mean you've seen the wheels that i rolled around on for 2 years, right? TSW Thruxtons. By no means what is the "norm" in the mustang crowd. I liked them for a while, but they got old. But like i said, not closed minded, just narrow minded and open to new things, but I do like what already works and millions of people have done.
