Default Bigger Air Filter and Next Mod options

Hello,

I have a 2003 Mustang GT with
Long tube headers
H-pipe
Magnaflow Cat-back
Accufab Plenum and Throttle Body
K&N CAI
3:73 rear end
Pro-Motion Transmission
Aluminum drive-shaft
Comp cams with .500 lift
Stage 2 Ported Heads
and a dyno tune

What should my next mod be?

Also I hear a whine much like a supercharger wine when I accelerate. I have checked everything and there are no leaks which leads me to believe that its the air filter pulling in more air due to the bigger valves. Where can I get a bigger filter to replace the K&N one? Or is there another solution to this problem?

1 of 3 options:
1: S/C
2: Install Spray
3: Built Suspension
or... get rid of that h pipe and install on an o/r pipe.

How much are you wanting to spend on this next mod?

Price is not a concern. If its lots of money then it will take me longer to acquire. But lets not be unrealistic, I don't have millions to spend. I would estimate my cap to be $10,000 however, that would probably take me 5 years or more of saving to get. lol i was more or less looking for something smaller to raise my HP that I could do at home. Currently I put down 325hp to the wheels and 330 lb-ft torque. Any ideas?

Any answers on that filter question?

Do you have UDP? Sometimes those can cause belt whine that could be described sounding like a supercharger.

Why did you get such a small cam for your setup? And as far as you power goals go... it completely depends on how you want to reach them. You could do it NA but it's going to be pricing, or you could get a Vortech and have around 390-400rwhp for a fraction of that budget.

Well, if you want to raise the hp for cheap then do nitrous. Get a used kit, do the install yourself, and you can have an extra 100 hp for well under a grand. If you have more patients, then save for a blower.

I'm curious about your cams as well. Only a 500 lift??? That sounds like cams for the NPI motor. I'm surprised that you put down 325 rwhp with cams like that.

I only did .500 lift because I had transmission problems that cause an alteration in my plans. It turns out that my syncro was on its way out so I decided to upgrade the transmission too. But I did the cam anyway, only this time on a tighter budget. I had three different shops that specialize in mustangs tell me that anything greater than .500 valve lift ran into clearance issues. Besides I drive the care almost daily in the summer so my G/F can use our other car. I needed the Mustang to remain street-able. I have other reasons as well.

I do have pulleys on the car too. I'm almost positive its the filter since I can hear it with my head under the hood. I'm just wondering if a bigger filter will fit up to that pipe. If nobody has any better solutions that is, I'll just check a auto parts store tomorrow.
