Default SFC's installed

Finally got my FLSFC's installed. unfortunately it has been raining nonstop all day so I didn't get to do much with the car. Driving normally, slowly, though, I could notice the car felt a little firmer. I can't wait to give the car some gas and take some corners to see it how feels! Just updating everyone on my car. haha!

They really stiffen up the car dont they?! Awesome mod! I got mine custom made and installed for $100 and they are every bit as good or better than most aftermarket offerings and they are stiff as hell.

i seem to remeber and article saying that they mainly help stiffen the floor pan, which basically means we feel it a lot because the floor pan that our seats are attached to stops flexing so much. Im not sure whether it is acctually a huge improvment to handling, but what it does do is give the driver more confidence to drive the car!!

that would make sense to me,,, i know mine had nuts for the seat mounts. i would have to believe it does reduce the body flexing some though.

honestly i dont remember what the rest said, i do know the most reduction was how much the seats acctually moved. But then again if you think about it, if you drove your car in an auto X bone stock, then just swaped the drivers seat out for a corbeau or something, id say most people would pick up time, its just a safer feeling you get of being stuck to your car, i think the sfc do the same thing, so who cares if it makes a diff or not, i have them and they were worth every penny cuz the car is more fun to drive!!!

Took the car for a quick 5 minute drive today. It does seem to be firmer. I notice slightly less lift and dive on acceleration and braking, and a tighter feel when turning. I have a feeling I would have felt more noticeable improvements had I done this before my springs/shocks/struts. But, there is still a difference! Thanks to AM for the part, quick shipping, and great service.
