Default Wheels/Tires/Interior

My 96 gt has stock wheels on it. I dont really have the $$ this year for new wheels beacause im puting majority of work in the motor but im thinking of putting at least tires on. 225 on front and 245 on back...good idea? Also i need aftermarket interior parts.....my door handle tabs are broke so it comes right off....where can i get parts like that? I would also be interested in purchasing some used wheels if anyone has any....

Um get the same size the whole way around that way you can rotate the tires. No idea on the interior.

Sounds like you just need a whole new car. Junkyard will be your friend in the scenario.

Stock 96 GT rims i think were either 16x7's or 17x8's and OP probably has the 16's so 245 is pretty wide for that wheel, considering that its meant for an 8" wheel.

missed the part about not being able to afford new wheels. in that case, if the tires on there now are fine i wouldn't touch it. waste of money IMO to intall a "performance" 245 tire.

btw...what kind of motor work are we talking about? if its anything substantial, then it will all go to waste with a tiny tire.
