i give a +1 on the O/R h-pipe. i absolutely LOVE it! and whatever that guy said about the welds bein bad on a BBK setup is full of sh*t. they look pretty damn good and have held up nicely thus far. now the fitment is crap, yes, but thats mostly fords fault for makin it so damn tight down there

Ya the bbk headers r probably the best cheap headers, imo. its what I have, and I'm not disappointed, for wht I paid.

If you compare their welds to higher end brand headers, bbk's welds are crap. But again, I guess my experience with modding all my mustang, makes me not know what I am talking about....

Jerseys Inspection Is only running smog test starting in june from what i've heard and you wont get pulled over for it. Not that many cops are big enough dicks to run a roadside inspection unless you really ****ed up.

How much louder would the car be with O/R pipes. I am just concerned they will pull me over because the car has a MEAN roar and then give me a ticket for something else. I mean my goal is to have a nice sound, but not to the point of where it will attract a cop easily. Although probablly any exhaust will make this happen haha.

my point was that, to you, the welds may look crappier, but they hold up just fine. not everyone is all that concerned with the aesthetic appeal of their headers since they will probably never actually see them again except when they change their oil. for example, i think the MAC headers you suggested look damn ugly, but i still wouldve gotten some if i woulda found a deal that was as cheap as my brand new BBK's

Got my lt's and o/r h on today, and compared to the o/r x that was on it is the h pipe is quit a bit quieter and much more refined. The flowmasters I got on now sound way better with the h. The x had a very pop can sound (loose and raspy), but sounds very deep and smooth with the h.
