Default BBK Headers + H Pipe Thoughts?

Hey everyone,

My first mod for the car is going to be headers and a new mid pipe. After doing some searching I've been highly considering BBK long tube headers and the catted H pipe. I just wanted to get some other peoples thoughts on this setup. Is it a good setup to go with or should I buy something else with my money?*Edit* I have a 99' Stock Svt Cobra sorry totally forgot to put this in.

Thanks,
Mark

Go with an o/r pipe instead and then after that & the tubes, my vote: suspension.

BBK Headers and mid pipe would be good.... but whether or not u should get catted or o/r will depend on what mufflers you want.......

BBK headers are ok. IMO the quality/fit/welds are crap, but again this is just my opinion and based off my personal experience. If you are going with a cheaper brand header, I would highly consider Mac. Their quality and fit is better then bbk.

I guess a question you need to ask youself is, is this car your daily drive? If so, I see you live in NJ, you guys get some pretty good snow in the winter, them bbks will not last long at all. If you can I would save up some more money and buy Kooks, ARH, SLP, or Stainless works. Get something stainless steel. You got a cobra, it deserves the best of the best

I LOVE my BBk headers! And im actually lookin to get a catted h to replace my catted x pipe i have now. So i can get a lil bit louder catback. Id go w/ a LM1/2 or a magnapack catback if i were you. Im lookin into SSS...theres a huge thread in here about em so it shouldn't be too hard.

Good luck w/ ur decision.
