No Drone Exhaust

You also need to keep in mind that the mid pipe pays a big part in how your mufflers sound. I put 40 ser. flows on with the factory pipe and couldn't hardly hear the thing, but it's loud and drone's like a mother with the o/r x I had.

I think drone is subjective. I would love it if they could quantify drone...I suppose it would just come out as a decible reading, but would be nice if when looking for a muffler along with the overall dimensions etc of each muffler, they give you a decible chart for common motors at a range of rpm's. Much like Flormaster does on their website, but they only compare the mufflers to eachother and not to an rpm.
I could also see how they couldn't, since each car has different exhaust routing/bends/length not to menton diff cats, midpipes motor size etc. So it would be hard to have a starting point. But to put JUST mufflers on common cars stock...Mustang, camaro, corvette etc and go from there and let people make thei own assumption for their specific setup.

i got STEEDA catback with MRT Catted H pipe and sounds really nice and deep. No drone at all but not extremely loud exhaust either. I think it is a really nice balance. Magna packs would be my second choice.

another vote for bassani even though they drone very slightly. im not sure you will be able to avoid it all together. it can be minimized with the right kit though.
