Thought of this while I was cutting the lawn yesterday so don't rip my head off!!

For those who are considering/running nitrous setups....

Has anyone ever thought of running two 75shots vs. one 125/150 shot? In other words, spraying one shot of 75 in second gear and one shot of 75 in fourth? Would that be more beneficial and less taxing on the motor to only do 75 in different stages rather than a nice big shot (relatively big, as in 125/150) all at once? Maybe I'm proving my lack of knowledge regarding nitrous but it is just a thought...

Opinions?

 

Are u saying spray 1 75 in 2nd keep it on and then bring another 75 in 4th for a total of 150? It would work...and its kind of how the big guys set their stuff up...

But it would not be benificial... idealy you want to spray 1st thru 4th...if u cant hook 1st a progressive set up helps or a 2 stage like ur saying...but if your on even a decent tire and have a little suspension you can just spray outa the hole...

Case in point a friend just put a 100 shot on his car and sprays 2nd and 3rd...i ran almost a full second faster because i spray all of it off the line

 

Dimebag what gears are you running? And I know this may be a little amateur of a question, but how long does the spray last for? Would it last through gears 1-4?

 

4.10s... and it lasts 1st-4th for about 5 or more passes

 

For normal street applications (75-125 shot) for our cars, you're best off to just spray it all at once.
