He was also sitting in one spot not moving.. I dont see any reason to freak out over it. There was no air moving over the headers while he is reving for 20-30 min.. ****s gonna get hot thats not cooled with coolant and has hot gas running through it.

thats why i asked if it was the garage or the highway. air moving = things that are air cooled get VERY hot very quick.

as far as the break-in procedure for the cams... that's what comp cams says to do in the paperwork sent with the cams so i just followed as they said... and i just had my engine rebuilt... bored +.020 so it is running hotter than a stock engine but my temp gauge never went higher than normal.... it was pretty dark in the garage so the glowing was much more noticeable than it would have been in the day time... but yeah, but car isn't tuned yet so i'm sure my a/f ratio is off especially having bigger injectors in... car is running pretty well... i'm taking it back to the guy that put the engine together to have him look at it... he put the engine together but i put it back in the car myself and i took it back to him when i got it running and he said he thinks it might be misfiring... hopefully it'll be running 100% soon.
