I have had the same pulleys on my '04 for almost a year now and have not noticed any gains. Also, not problems with tthe accessories or battery.

I have been pleased with the Steeda's, I got them used from a forum member that had installed a supercharger.

With a lot of highway driving I find that gas mileage jumped up about 1/2 MPG, also there is a noticeable difference under hard acceleration at higher RPMs. These are subtle changes but they are there...

"I" think once you get to the point of chasing every lil bit of HP, "YES". If you think you will notice a difference on a bolt on car...probably not.

Actually it 'tother way around. It's on lower power engines that the effect of UDPs will be most noticeable, as the reduction in power needed to spin the accessories is fixed and independent of engine output.

For example, let's say for sake of argument that at 5000 engine rpm, there's a 10HP reduction in power needed to operate the generator and water pump. That's 5% of output for an engine putting out 200HP at 5k; but only 2.5% of the output from an an engine that can make 400HP at 5k.

The freeing up of 5% of total engine output will be more noticeable than a 2.5% change...

Hey thanks man.. I love the 410's, it really woke the car up.. I decided to buy a S/C and I recently purcharsed a Vortech V1..Being that the Vortech is a centrifigual S/C the 410's should be okay. We'll see!!

For gears you really need to have a good idea what direction you want to go with the car. If you're not going past boltons I think 4.10s are probably the best bang for the buck. For a centri supercharged car like his, 4.10s vs. 3.73s I think depends on getting traction at the track and how fast you want to go. On a turbo, I don't think I change gears at all because a turbo needs engine load to spool faster. The same goes for UDP's. If you plan on doing a blower like I do, you'll be tearing them off just like I will. Really not worth it for the small amount of output you get. If you're staying bolt on, sure, it's a few more HP to the wheels.
