Default Getting rims... a few questions

I am getting 4 Saleen rims for my Mustang. I am just wondering, what is the difference between the 18x9 and 18x10 tires?

I was looking at the tire suggestions for these rims, and they say that the best fit would be 275/35/ZR18. I was looking at the Sumitomo HTR's and they look pretty decent, and are only 122 a tire at my local tire shop. So do I HAVE to get a specific size or what?

You can get whatever size you want to, nobody is going to stop you, but that size is recommended for a reason.

If you can afford a new set of wheels you can afford a good set of tires, and if you cant then you shouldnt be buying the wheels to begin with.

Htr 2's are good for normal driving, just don't launch or race with them, as you will spin side ways like a retarded preschooler. Check out falkens or nitto's, just don't go with nexens or you will crash your car.

So I can get 245/45/18? I don't need incredibly wide tires, and I can afford anything right now, the price doesn't matter but obviously I'm looking for the best tire for the best price. Like these... these seem perfectly fine, especially considering the fact that I don't regularly race on a track or strip.

if you are gonna race period then just shell out the extra coin for Nitto's or even proxies.

Also, what is the difference between the 18'9 rims and the 18'10 rims?
