Default Ordering H&R Springs...

Tomorrow morning I am ordering lowering springs. Do you think that the spring isolators are worth it? What do they do that the stock ones dont?

Spring isolators are there to keep metal/metal contact out of the equation. You dont need them, but without them those springs may lower it more than you want. Aftermarket Isolators are more stiff and help out in the handling of the car(not much however). You can reuse the stock isolators if you want, but they will likely be cracked and dry rotted.

I have h+r springs and my Isolators were in good shape so i reused them. but as posted earlier if they are dryed out or torn then its a good Idea to replace them. its cheap insurance

Race springs i think are on the heavy side for street use and they dont lower the car all that much. I hope anyone that is doing lowering springs for the looks does the SS's not the Race springs except for termie owners.

I left my iso's out, it will squeek sometimes but I just turn the music up.

I did new spring isos because the others were in bad shape.

Oh, and OP are you getting them from AM? I just noticed they are on sale for June.

I just ordered them springs with new ISO's , I say do it right the first time and do not half *** it. IMO
